Miles ago, before Samantha's career took flight. She was just a kid belting out every word of the Deana Carter album "Did I Shave My Legs For This?" in her parents' basement. Her father loved country - Garth Brooks, Reba, Brooks and Dunn, George Strait, and Shania Twain - to name a few. Samantha's mother was a lover of rock - Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, and so on. While playing in alternative/grunge bands with her three brothers. Samantha's musical ear was taking form, with many different musical inspirations.
Samantha has a humble confidence about her and incredible stage presence, that naturally draws in the listener. When asked to describe herself and her music in a few words, "BEAUTIFUL GRIT" always comes to mind. Samantha's Rock-Country style and sound is sexy, yet subtle and edgy.

Samantha Ava has opened for such big acts as Aaron Pritchett, The Femmes of Rock, performing as pre-show entertainment for James Barker Band. 2025 kicked off with the celebration of a well deserved milestone. Samantha's first magazine spread in 'Nashville Voyager Magazine" highlighting Samantha's "Life Story". As well as performing at the well known and profound Sound Of Music Festival '25 and performing as Annie Lennox in the "Bowie Lives Tour". While summer of '25 got hot with a five stop tour in downtown Nashville, TN. A second home to Samantha, Tennessee is where she has been cutting teeth, writing and performing for the last ten years. Residing in Southern Ontario and travelling to Tennessee whenever able.

During the live show experience, Samantha's overall goal is to "connect with the audience and relate to them through my own lived experience. It's amazing how differently a song will hit home for each audience member." She brings an electric and raw show with lots of energy, leaving the crowd wanting more!

Samantha Ava has been recording and releasing music for the past nine years. Prior to that, she put her heart and soul into writing on her own, forming a relationship with her guitar, doing the internal work necessary to become a great writer. "It's a struggle and a journey, but a beautiful one. I wouldn't trade the hours alone in my room writing and singing to those four walls. It helped to shape me into who I am today as an individual artist and a songwriter."

Samantha has released nine singles and an EP titled "The Dig". The first official release, "Seventeen", hit #1 on many indie charts including internationally, standing strong for several months. "The Dig" was produced by the exceptional Nashville-based producer, Shannon Mc Arthur, who is well known for his work with bands such as Dashboard Confessional and Adam Duritz (Counting Crows). The songs "I Am The Night" and "Seventeen" were produced by Juno Award winning producers Darren Magierowski and Jill Zimmerman (City And Colour, July Talk). Samantha's upcoming debut album is being produced by the talented Kentucky based artist/producer/co-writer Charles Austin. She plans to strategically lay out the trail to the highly anticipated album release with new music, single by single beginning Spring of '26.

Six time nominated artist/songwriter, Samantha Ava, has a booked year ahead. Come the fall, she will be back penning her next single, reminiscing another year that's come and gone and the memories made with gratitude and influence. As well as planning her next adventure travelling to untouched land and connecting with new audiences near and far. But for now Samantha's gearing up for another unforgettable year of fans, new releases, live performances, and new memories to be made.
